Owen is an innovative, problem solving and customer focused IT support professional with over 25 years in the Information Technology, Environmental and Petroleum industries. Major strengths include understanding customer needs, applying the correct technology, and improvising solutions to fit needs.


Owen worked as a Lead Systems Support Engineer at E*TRADE Financial for over 7 years during the “dot com boom”. During this time, some of the items he was responsible for:

  • Remote support for all offices west of the Mississippi river.
  • Evaluating hardware and setting desktop standards world wide.
  • Tested all new software for compatibility with existing software and hardware.
  • Deploy Cisco VPN for 1400 users world wide saving $189,000 per month.
  • Owen excels at providing IT solutions to companies and their customers.

Ev is a customer-focused, analytical, hands-on IT support professional. With over 13 years of experience, his major strengths include managing projects to timely, cost effective completion, creating and maintaining vendor relationships, and resolving desktop related issues.

Prior to joining Valley IT Support, Ev worked at E*TRADE Financial for over 7 years and managed a staff of 45 technicians world wide. Some of his duties included:

  • Migrated 1,000 desktop operating systems and upgrading necessary hardware for Y2K compliance.
  • Engineered standard desktop hardware and software configurations for the enterprise, resulting in improved productivity and establishing hardware / software baselines.
  • Established service level agreements with local support teams, managing customer expectations and creating consistent support levels.

Nicolas has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. Nicolas graduated from the University of California San Diego with a BS in Cognitive Science (computer modeling of human cognition, or AI). His career started with one-on-one, remote telephone support at MicroTac Software. Nicolas was recognized for patience and commitment to resolving application issues.

Nicolas worked at E*TRADE Financial for 10 years and most recently served as a Senior Systems Engineer, supporting an Exchange messaging system hosting 10,000 mailboxes for 5,000 users, on 15 servers all spread globally. Nicolas was singly responsible for upgrading the company’s corporate messaging system from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003. Nicolas has extensive experience leading projects involving Windows 2000, 2003 servers and Active Directory management.
